About Well Ed | Educator Wellness & Burnout Prevention

Kiesha Easley – Certified Educator and Consultant

Kiesha is a certified educator with over 17 years of experience. She earned her Master of Arts in English from the University of Toledo and has been teaching at either middle/secondary or college level since 2003.

She knows first-hand how difficult it can be to juggle the demands of teaching while at the same time trying to take care of family and personal needs. During her first year of teaching, before she even realized it, she was suffering from burnout and exhaustion that nearly took her out of the classroom for good.

But her love for teaching kept her looking for solutions. She embarked on a health journey that completely changed her life! As she became more intentional about her health and well-being, she discovered new levels of energy and mental clarity. As she became more intentional about self-care, time management, and finding rejuvenating activities, her stress levels decreased.

As Kiesha focused more on her well-being, she found that she had more patience. She laughed more with her students. She started to enjoy teaching again. She started to dream again!

And then she realized something: every teacher deserves to feel this way! Every teacher deserves to feel healthy and supported, instead of drained and burned out. It can feel like an impossible task. But it doesn’t have to.

She is a burnout survivor, and that’s why she is so determined to help other educators heal and reignite their passion for teaching.  That’s why she is so passionate about helping teachers get the support they need to remove barriers that hinder personal well-being and self-care, so they don’t have to experience burnout.

That is why she founded Well Ed: so teachers don’t have to feel as if they must choose between their health, their family or their career

Well-Ed is here to help teachers not just stay in the classroom but to enjoy it.

What others are saying

I had seen how Kiesha lost weight and was curious about what she had done. She graciously shared with me her health journey and the things she changed to help her. She explained how there are certain poisons in foods that make us sick or cause our bodies to build a resistance to burning it off. She listed the foods that were optimal for health and foods we should avoid. It surprised me how many of them had been deemed healthy my entire life.

I’m grateful for Kiesha’s insight and her willingness to share her findings.
